Hey everyone, Craig Pajek, pajekonline.com, Hope you’re all doing well.
I’m sure by now you’ve all heard, MP’s in the Canadian House of Commons recently passed the highly controversial m-103.
The vote followed months of bitter debate and a series of protests and counter-protests across the country.
A recent poll has shown that most Canadians disapproved and wanted to vote down the anti-Islamophobia motion.
Pollster “Angus Reid Institute” polled Canadians asking, “if you were a a Member of Parliament, how would you vote on this motion”? They found that 42 per cent would vote against it; 29 per cent would vote in favor and 29 per cent “were not sure”.
This means, of Canadians who were actually familiar with the issue and had an opinion, a solid majority of 59% were opposed to the motion.
In debate, Conservative MP’s endorsed the sentiment but objected to the wording of the motion in the belief that it could lead to the suppression of free speech.
“The word ‘Islamophobia’ which was never officially defined, could potentially be used to mean both discrimination against Muslims and criticism of Islamic doctrine or practice.
Although people deserve legal protection, ideologies do not.
During debate Conservative MP Garnett Genuis correctly pointed out, “People should not discriminate against individuals, but should feel quite free to criticize the doctrine, history, or practice of any religion.”
We’ve already seen in countries like Germany and Sweden, where seemingly innocent motions have led to laws, that have led to police showing up at people’s door for simple Facebook posts.
Conservative Brad Trost said he would not vote for the bill because it “will only serve to strengthen extremist elements within the Muslim community itself, that seek to preserve and promote their own form of hate and intolerance.” He added that any “serious plan to combat religious discrimination in Canada should include all faith groups, including Christians and Jews.”
Iqra Khalid, the Mississauga, Ontario MP, who has ties to terrorism through connections with the Muslim brotherhood and other Islamist supremacist groups, originally introduced the motion, and seemed ecstatic to see it pass. (Clip)
However when questioned by reporters she was highly evasive with her answers. (Clip)
It’s more than a little ironic that she also went on to speak of “really listening to what Canadians have to say”, all while strong vocal disapproval of her motion by millions of Canadians has fallen on completely deaf ears. Based on results of the Angus Reid survey, if the vote on M-103 was up to Canadians, it would have failed.
Chillingly, one group strongly in favor of the new motion is ISIS, whose leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi tweeted out the groups approval, and congratulated miss Khalid on her effective use of taqiyya in getting the motion approved.
He seems to confirm what most Canadians already knew …this has been deception and manipulation with an ulterior agenda right from the start.
This is why Khalid rejected an attempt by Saskatchewan Conservative MP David Anderson to remove the word “Islamophobia” from the motion and change the wording to “condemn all forms of systemic racism, religious intolerance and discrimination of Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus and other religious communities.
The total rejection of this common sense amendment, makes it clear that M-103 is an attempt to elevate Islam in accordance with Muslim brotherhood ideals, and to give it separate and special status above all other belief systems in Canada. Once again, this fits the agenda of ISIS quite nicely as well.
The motion is clearly intended to shut down legitimate criticism or analysis of Islam, and according to ISIS it will be the first step to ushering in Sharia Law in Canada,
If we examine mainstream Islamic societies, we find nation after nation where apostasy is a crime punishable by death, indigenous minorities are robbed of equal citizenship and religious dissent is considered treason. A charge of Islamophobia is used to silence, marginalize and imprison.
It’s a sad day for Canada when our politicians are doing the bidding of ISIS, while ignoring the legitimate concerns of the Canadian people.
